A Master-Post Of Gendercrits Appealing to The Homophobic Religious Right #TERF #TERFLogic

Figured this might be a worthwhile resource to put out there. Gendercrits have quite a few heinous tricks up their sleeve: a penchant for internet blackface, faking intersex status, siding with pedophiles, mocking cultural third gender people in a clearly white-supremacist manner, etc. That really shouldn’t be surprising at this point; it’s what their movement is all about. I just find it fascinating that their crowd, while championing some sort of utopia free from gender, aligns so frequently and so easily with the repressive far-right. I recently found myself on the recieving end of this, when my birth name, an ancient photo of me, and complete fabrications about my sexual orientation were passed along to a homophobic blogger to display for his 80,000 followers:

I’m not a self-proclaimed anything, much less a “translesbian”.

It doesn’t really matter that Robert Stacy McCain‘s 80K strong Twitter fanbase is almost entirely spambots… although it bears repeating that Robert Stacy McCain is so sad and pathetic that his Twitter fanbase is almost entirely spambots. It’s vexing, but I’ll get over it, that Gender Fatigue has to paint me as claiming to be lesbian (which I never have) and insisting that I’m a heterosexual man (which at no point in my adult life have I ever been) in order to re-contextualize my concerns with their support of right-wing homophobes. It’s just particularly damning that the homophobic religious far-right seems to be so easily at their beck and call… almost as if their own rules are meaningless. They certainly don’t seem to have any ideological consistency when it comes to what is and isn’t a slur-

rightwingterf1Gendercrits sure are… something.

So just figured I’d dump off screencaps I’ve collected over the years of gendercrits championing the religious right. Either by sharing articles from right wing sources or outright advocating for them. Further reference can be found in my “About That ‘250 Cases Of Transgender Violence'” article. This will probably use this as a resource in further, more elaborate articles. But for now, without further ado-

A Fool, Money, Etc: This Memories Pizza Thing Is Gonna End Hilaribadly.

11 Apr

pizzahate1Meanwhile, allow them to stare into your soul.

Within the last week or so, right-wing Xtians have decided to prove a point, and that point is that reinforcing homophobia is vastly higher priority to them personally than helping cancer patients or victims of terrorism. This what they really care about, this is what they value. This would be sad and pathetic, if it wasn’t a hilarious example of gullible chumps willfully throwing their money away passive-aggressively.

Like, first of all this whole thing couldn’t scream scam harder if it tried. Successful businesses don’t close down after a day of imaginary threats from “gay terrorists”. Around the same time, a gay-friendly bakery refused to bake an anti-gay-marriage cake and received legitimate death threats from frothing right-wing extremists and never threatened to close. Reminder that between gay activists and right-wing Christians, the latter is far more likely to murder you and bomb your place of business. Not to mention, these clowns were already threatening to take the donations and run just a few days ago.

Also, this is a sit-down pizza place that doesn’t even have delivery, much less catering service. They might as well said they will refuse to serve Vietnamese pulled-pork soup to gay people.

But hey, if a bunch of gullible losers manipulated by Glenn Beck (and his website The Blaze) want to sink a ton of money into prolonging an inevitable failure that’s on them. Indiana isn’t a friendly place, business-wise, to independent pizza shops and flinging a ton of money at a struggling white trash family with a business model that begins and ends with “NO HOMO” isn’t gonna fix that. Yeah cool they opened their doors to a ton of new customers, but how long is that passive-agressive consumership gonna last before it runs out of steam? Chik-Fil-A thrives off controversy like that because they are a national chain; these people aren’t gonna be moving to this podunk hick town to guarantee regular business for the place.

Also, even a cursory glance at how massive financial windfalls for rednecks that have no idea how to manage that much money turn out is a pretty grim picture. In all likelihood, their church and hillbilly relatives pouring in out of the woodwork will siphon them dry in a matter of months. And before y’all accuse me of being classist, I have every right to call grifting white trash for what it is. Apparently The Blaze is also providing a financial advisor… um ok. How long is that gonna last? The kind of financial advice one would get for suddenly receiving nearly a million dollars and 15 minutes of fame is vastly different than relevant advice for the income of a dive pizza joint (which likely doesn’t rake that much money in from a decade of business).

In any case, this is a disaster waiting to happen. Is there such a thing as pizza-flavored popcorn? There is? Excellent.

This Website Is Called Total Fascism. Where Do I Even Start.

transplanet

(Trigger Warning: Neo-Nazi fuckery all over the place).

So earlier this week some friends/fellow members of the elite race traitor Transqueerluminati were discussing far right wing sites and bloggers that drift so far out that they’re almost funny (when you desperately try to forget the truly awful people that agree with them).

At one point someone mentioned a gathering where someone had done an absurd dramatic reading of this piece of happy horseshit, I mean critique of anarcho-capitalism. Now, I’m no fan of anarcho-capitalism (or capitalism) or Ayn Rand or objectivism by even the remotest stretch of the imagination, but nowhere in my critique would you find me accusing it of being a “Jewish Conspiracy” (which I’ll go into more detail momentarily).

Most laughably, he claims AnCaps are universally pro LGBT rights (has he even MET any AnCaps? Jesus fuck.)

freedomLemme just break this whole image down; one that is unsurprisingly similar to image diptychs you’ll see all across the social conservative spectrum.  On the surface it’s a pretty typical social conservative “I did a Google Image Search for ‘gay pride’ to distinguish from socially respectable people”  piece of tired-ass crap. They dig up a picture of a colorful (usually DMAB) person and hold it in everyone’s faces all like THIS IS WHAT YOU SUPPORT THIS IS THE FUTURE BE TERRIFIED. And anyone with any sort of sense is like… what? That’s not scary at all, that person seems fun and probably takes themselves a lot less seriously than you do, grow the fuck up. Frankly I find the creepy Teutonic sepia-tone pic of the homogenized milk-white family shadowed with their patriarchal Reichsadler Eagle overlord way the fuck more terrifying.

totalfascism4Seriously, this website is stocked with paintings of hideous dead-eyed Aryans.

You may notice for this article I’m gonna be focusing more on the dude’s homophobia than his racism. Mostly because the dude is Neo-Nazi trash, of fucking course he’s racist. There really isn’t anything in particular to point out and deconstruct, the whole site is operated on the assumption that everyone is at least as racist as he is. What is there to deconstruct about a dude that can say with no sense of irony that comparing POC to monkeys is a perfectly reasonable conclusion and seems surprised it is controversial.

That said, from here on out whenever a white person makes up an imaginary African name and pretends to speak in AAVE, or whenever I hear a white person dismiss cultural appropriation, this article is what will immediately come to mind.

But then, whenever I see someone argue that parents being supportive of their trans* children is abuse, I’ll be thinking of this article. TERFs, MRAs, religious right, Nazi assclowns, it’s all the exact same white heteronormative patriarchy to me.

And like, sure people like this dude think everything is a “Jewish Conspiracy”, but this dude think’s EVERYTHING is a “Jewish Conspiracy”. He thinks feminism is a Jewish Conspiracy. He thinks transgender kids are a Jewish Conspiracy. He thinks criticism of gay conversion therapy is a Jewish ConspiracyHe thinks cursing is a Jewish Conspiracy. He even thinks Alex Jones is a Jewish Conspiracy.

totalfascism3

Ah, I guess obesity is also a “Jewish Conspiracy” too. He also uses the phrase “emotion-based” so often on his site I’m pretty sure he believes emotions are a “Jewish Conspiracy” as well.

And like, I personally think Alex Jones is a joke and have no qualms mocking him and his fans relentlessly. But when I hear a Neo-Nazi sob incoherently about how hurt he is by Jones saying mean things about Hitler, I’m like “Fuck. Yes.”.

Because Nazis and other anti-semites are barely human trash and I want them to cry more.

On Monday, the Daily Beast presented a portrait of Portland eccentric Grant Chisholm, local shop owner and street preacher.  And it’s like, I don’t wanna be the kind of girl that makes wild assumptions just because the science happens to back me up, but coooooooome on.

I mean, antique dealer by day, street preacher against the homosex at night? Compulsively attending gay events where there are naked people around in order to “judge” them? You couldn’t MAKE UP a better candidate for a third act gay reveal.

I can’t really find much background for this specific image (that I found in this Buzzfeed article), but I found it interesting. If it’s hard to make out the labels, it appears to be a control unit running a pair of slide projectors (one full of images of naked men, the other full of images of naked women) and what looks like a randomizing engine to decide if electric shocks would be applied to either the left or right leg (presumably to keep the subject unprepared). It’s kinda eerie.

This is an letter sent by notoriously homophobic LAPD chief Edward Davis in response to being invited to Gay Pride Week in 1975, where he responds that he’d rather advocate for “Gay Conversion Week”.
