So, sooner or later, once I have all the archives ported over from it, I intend to redirect the URL from whyimnotanartist.com (globally ranking an enviable 24,322,182 according to Alexa) to this site and just make this a one stop shop of everything Rani Bakr. While doing something or other, I caught wind of some linkbait site listing “similar” sites to my old site. Of course, I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff so I checked it out.
So first of all, I notice this:
Which is already like “what”? I mean, I get the first one. I self-published a little book one-shot book called “Illegal Comics”. It was a kind of stupid piece of collage work, but it made me chuckle when I made it. The second maaaaaaaaybe has something to do with one of the embedded photos I included in a Cracked Topic Page forever ago. Still, wtf.
So then comes the sites that are supposedly comparable. The picture above is from some blog called GrEaT sAtAn”S gIrLfRiEnD that appears to be indecipherable (at least to me) foreign policy analyses interspersed with random pictures of pretty women because who knows why. I did learn a new word tho: hyperpuissance.
Other than that, the rest of the list is mostly links to non-American Cartoon Network mirror sites and security stuff. Still… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
